That will be a nice little weekender boat after you get it all straightened out.

Around the bolts in production boat building we always used lanoline grease and coated everything with that !! The lanoline comes from sheep's wool and last better that anything else on the market !! it has very good water repellent properties and gets used extensively in aluminium boat building industry and also for rigging onn sail boats !!. And it good for you hands !! you wife will wonder why your hands are so soft and smooth !

Messing round with boats is fun !! the learning never stops ,even after more than 30 years there's always something new happening somewhere ! BUT somethings never change and some problems never go away and just keep reoccurring !!so moved into Composite Forensics , Now that something completely new !!

The last time I sleeved the transom bolts on another build I did use bearing grease to coat the bolts. This time I was fresh out of grease so these didn't get any....yet.

Put 5200 on the sleeves, not directly on the bolts.

Need to have sealer on the bolts too to keep the water out of the boat. So, 5200 on the sleeves when you install them and 5200 on the bolts when you install the jack plate.

OK, the sleeves were 5200 into the transom. The bolts/washers, backing plates and jackplate have silicone sealing it all up. squeezed out everywhere.

silicone is not a good sealant for underwater use, but it seems too late for that now unless you want to take it all off, clean, and reinstall

Lot of people are scared of 5200 since it is a sealant/adhesive caulk. It's all I use.
