I added more setback to boat. Now at 8in. I have 30psi of water at WOT. Engine has to come up some more. Almost ran 104. Will be trying more engine heights soon.Click image for larger version.

First of all nice boat and #s!! My YT (which I sold the other week to my brother) would also run 104 with my combo of a stock bottom (but fully rebuilt), out of the box 32" lighting ET, 6" of setback and a stock/old 225 promax. You seem to be really wrestling it to keep it straight at those scary speeds so I wanted to chime in with some advise. 1) I hope your boat is rebuilt & structurally sounds 2) If you don't already have it I would highly suggest hydraulic steering - it tames the boat 3) with that big/heavy motor on the back you likely don't need much/any bow lift. Have you tried an ET or a cleaver?
    4) Once you're over 90, start trimming down and she'll settle out and take off.
    5) Lifejacket buddy!
    Cheers,
    Have fun!

boat is built like a brick all new. i have pretty much the best hydraulic side ram and helm combo steering. i ran a et 32 at 94mph i believe on the limiter real hard. also i ran a 34p cleaver and ran 96 on the limiter extremely hard as well. The bravo is a stern lifting prop so it sets up pretty good with that.My hoss wheel ran the best handling wise with negative to neutral trim but its alittle to big and holding me off the limiter alot. Over winter ill be working the hoss prop to up my rpm. if you watched the recent video im working the wheel alot because of the water conditions that day. even though it was calm out there were many small rollers coming at me on a angle. most of the time at the higher speeds i can almost drive the boat with one hand. as far as life jacket goes well thats another conversation ill stay off of. winter time ill be getting one. thank you for the input. im hoping to get atleast 106 out of it with my bravo, all about setup and timing.

110mph pass. Anyone know if a race hatch can cause drag? you can see downward pressure on the hatch when running. Thinking that it might be pushing boat down causing more drag?
