1994 Yamaha Pro V 175 ....bought a 225HP 1994 Yamaha Parts motor ..compatible parts?

Hi,

I have a great running 175 Pro V on my Vegas XT and it runs perfect. I love the stock reliability of a Yamaha. I found a parts motor in CT about 1hr 40 min from my house and was hoping I could bolt in the intake w read cage and carbs and it would be close to a 225HP stock .

I see the following parts are also different

Tuner
CD Ignition ( this one has a different part # for a 25 in counter rotating motor as opposed to the 20 inch right hand rotation)
Intake
Carbs

Here is another one.....it looks like the 150, 175 and 200 pro V have the same block and the 225 HP is slightly different, I assume large exhaust and intake porting perhaps ?? Does anyone know if that intake will choke up my 175 block if I change over the tuner ? should I change over w the 225 Hp ignition as well ? why is the part # different for CD ignition on a RH vs LH rotation ??

I would love to get to a 200HP + but maintain stock reliability. ....regardless I think I will go w a HydrpoTec Tuner and Reeds while I am at it, but if I just went the stock for stock swap out would it run OK ? I plan on having all the carbs rebuilt as I do not know the deal w them.

any info is greatly appreciated. I would pay for tech advice as well.....I am not sure of the rules on this , I just want to be fair to whomever helps me I would happily pay for the expertise / advice.
