    Engine flushing question

    I have poor water pressure where I keep my boat. The noodle flusher I made to flush thru my sportmaster won't get water out the thermostat dumps. I have no thermostats, only washers.

    Question is can I just hook the hose directly to the thermostat dump hose and back flush? Will all water passages get properly rinsed of saltwater?

    It's a Merc 2.5 on a 2.4 one piece plate, with poppet removed.
