I wish he could get Dale out in the boat with motor heights and props being close. The next thing is to run it with 50 gallons of fuel or less. I have been telling everyone how impressive these things are. The acceleration is incredible for stock XS power and they have top end that is in a class of its own. The best thing is that you can get a brand new one for about the same price as other 15 to 20 year old used 28s out there. The new windshield is done and we will be fitting it at Doug Wrights shop after we get back from the LOTO shootout. The mold will be open again in a few weeks after Eddie's is pulled. Anyone that is interested in one of these needs to contact me for details.

Haven't run with him yet, I'm not looking for the last mph. I'm set up to run good with 4 peeps and mostly full tanks.

Dan owes me a ride in it.

    Out of the closet

I purchased a Doug Wright /Fat Cat/ RGR /Climax Race Boat / Mercury Racing / Zeiger Steering/ Sturgis Interior Boat and I got sponsor money from NASCAR . After seeing Dan's boat when it was being rigged at Grants in Fl. and then went to see Dan at the Delta after it was done I was sold . I think he has 1 of the best looking boats I have ever laid my eyes on . I even asked Dan if I could use some of his interior choices . I love the size and 28 is all that my garage and boat house will fit . I have loved and owned Skaters and had talked to Peter about a new 28' but after seeing Dan's boat and how good it runs modern styling and getting the group pricing it made the most sense for me. The finish on Dan's is great and mine has come out great as well . I have made 3 trips to Fat Cat and several to Doug Wright for the new windshield and dash changes all with Doug and Joe's ideas it has come out great. I will be picking it up the week after LOTO and the rigging will begin . Next I will have to figure out docking with the full cap . The first few trips will be from my boathouse to Silver Glen no docking . I will add some pics later.

Just got back from a ride in Dan's 28, trying a new pair of Herring 33 thru hub 5 blades.

...... Did I forget to say "Amaaaaaaazing" The boat accelerates like its shot out of a cannon, rides fantastic, and is well planted.

Ran a pretty quick 115 with 100 gallons of fuel, Dan and his fat friend NP ......

My guess is that Dan was being conservative with you in the boat... Did he bump it up on to the limiters or were you running that speed at 6000 like before? I have never seen anything that pulls this hard with stock XS power in this size boat-I am glad that you were able to experience it.

Looks fantastic, when do we get to see the new windshield?

We are headed to LOTO- When we get back, we will be making a road trip West to pick it up and bring it back South for the windshield install at Doug's shop. "so it will be a couple weeks" before it on the boat for pictures.
