It won’t help much if you’re slipping out (just spinning to 5k and not moving)
if you’re venting ( sucking air from the surface) then it will help.
I also caution about hooking on a turn.

My Bobs True Tracker completely solved the 5000 rpm take forever to plane problem on my Virage. I can remember my brother and I looking at each other in shock.

The bobs can break your cav plate.......I have 2 lowers with broken cav plates to prove it....They are cast and very stiff. They do work well design wise. I like them in use but am scared to run them.

I've been using the Ally foil on my SS2000 for about 6 years. Actually I've never driven the boat without a foil.

I like them just not running above water like my current set up.
Familys 18.5” 72 30”deep v loves them. So does the pontoon can actually trim it. My tracker though doesn’t like them since I’m high enough to come above the surface.
I will say a lot of sporty need more anti vent plate. Especially when swinging more then 28” close to the surface. Real easy to blow a whole in the water exposing the prop to air.
Honestly i I would look for about a 4” wide add on plate positioned over the blade tips. Then go up from there.
