V6 150 hp trigger wiring Q - are brown, white, & vio wires interchangeable btwn banks
So I'm wiring up switchboxes in a motor rebuild, and I have a quick question on the stator and trigger wires.
The wiring diagram clearly shows that you use the blue with white and red with white wires on the switch box that connects to the ignition coils for cyclinders 2, 4 & 6.
My my question is about the Violete, white & brown wires from the trigger.
Are they also specific to one bank of cyclinders (for example the even bank), or are they interchangeable?
One set of these wires goes through a yellow sleeve to protect the wires, and the other set goes through a black protective sleeve.
How do I know which set of the vio, whi & Blu wires goes to the switch box for which bank?
Does it matter?
Thanks!
Phil
ps - I apologize if this has been asked before. I searched first, but didn't see an answer. :-)Last edited by pjbrownva; 07-21-2017 at 12:11 PM. Reason: Changed question to ask about trigger rather than stator, based on info from the answer.

the violet, white, and brown wires come from the trigger and not the stator. Normally the wires have a yello band around the trigger wires for 246. the stator usually has a yello band also and yello with yello
