260efi Offshore cle on 175 pro xs

Wondering if a cle gearcase will bolt on a new 175 pro xs? If so leeds to the next question. Have a 96 22 Eliminator with a couple strong 260efi motors. Boat runs 115 to 120mph. Would like to de tune with a pair of 175 pro xs motors with the cle cases. Would it run 85mph with the 175's?

I have heard that a sportmaster will boat right up so a CLE should as well.

Assuming speed is proportional to the square root of horsepower (my last physics class was decades ago), yes it should run 85 plus. What is the porpoise zone?

It doesn't porpoise. It handles different then other cats I've had. Kevlar hull, with steps on the outer and center pod has step part way up and at the transom. Rolls thru the typical cat hop smooth.
