As it turns out, the J Craft is considered a Contemporary Classic Replica by the Antique and Classic Boat Society. I belong to the ACBS as I love old wooden boats. I'm have minimal interest in the early fiberglass boats. Every year the ACBS sends me a renewal form which includes a field for pictures of my boat. Usually I send in a picture of my Allison and that's that. This year I sent in a picture of our J Craft and it winds up on the ACBS web site.

Repowered with a new 2017 150HO. 61 mph and pulls slalom skiiers easily with a 22 Raker. Crazy low end with lower pitch props

The gen 2 is heavy but does have new features. We just thought the boat would work better with a lighter motor. And 60 is fast enough for a water ski boat.
