What boat and motor do yo have ?
Mine is a 1980 Dateline Bikini with a 1980 Johnson V4 85hp.

Hi, I'm amazed there are so few U.K guys on here.

I have an old wooden Shakespeare Avon Special, which I am have now got into my workshop to start the restoration, had a 1962 Merc 100hp rebuilt my Thom Adams over in the States a few years back which is waiting to go on the back.

I used to have a 85 Hp Johnson ( V4 ? ) on the back of my old Scorpion, loads of torque for getting up on skis :-), or pulling shoulder joints out ;-)

My 85 V4 is getting it last run of the season next week.
Then she is having a total rebuild. She will be as good (If not better) Than when she left the factory.
