    Ad Blockers

What's a good choice to use? Naturally I wouldn't use it on this site, but others the ad's are slowing FireFox, IE, etc down too much.

I use the Adguard Adblocker extension in chrome... works good, shows how many ads it's blocking, can turn off for individual sites, etc.

    https://adguard.com/en/adguard-adblo.../overview.html

There are versions to run on windows, android, etc... but the chrome extension does what I need.

I like ghostery and uBlock for Firefox.

Easy to toggle on and off for sites that you want to leave alone.

You can go into options, then add-ons and search to find them.

I really appreciate your not using them here. That really does me a great deal to me. Our traffic has been increasing more this last year than in the previous three years, since we're not running ad campaigns on Facebook and YouTube. That's great for the site, but ad blockers have also increased in popularity, and it's been drawing down our banner ad revenue, which this site absolutely depends on. I always make sure that our ads are not deceptive or invasive, and I have had several ads pulled that I felt were not appropriate.

If any ad here causes any concern, please contact me.

    Thanks all,
    Greg
