    I have a digital gauge with the sender screwed into the threaded boss in the top of the head, i watched the temp climb to 190 and as I slowed down it actually stuck....I never tried too restart it. Just got it back on the trailer, checked the compression , they are all still at 120 and I removed the head to inspect everything and it was all good...

    you need to either update exhaust cover or take out the rib in your old one..
    yes it does make a big difference.
    notice on the newer exhuast cover pate there is NO rib where i point the red line to..
    simply grind that out and its then the same as the newer updated one..

    Does anyone know what angle the taper is cut through the jets at? Ex. 4° off centerline.
