Why on earth do you want to change it to carbs? The xri performs better.

Can you put 200 carbs and intake on? Yes, will it make much of a difference? No not without changing more stuff.

If you want more power the best think to do it change the tuner one from a 200, I like the 2.4 200 bell tuner the best on those motors. Cut the heads to 34cc, slap some reeds in it and go.

But there is no gain really in your application.

I have 6 v6 mercs 3x 2.4 carb, one 2.0 carb and 2x laser style injection(what's on an xri) the laser injected motors are a lot more trouble free over all.

The stock carb motors are pretty trouble free but not as much as the injected ones.

Injected starts easier, gets better mileage loads up less idling on and on and on.

The main differences is the porting as far a power wise and the tuners.
