Probably a good deal less pressure than where you are from. Being in Ontario I'm used to it lol. It's the presentation, you can catch one on a shiny nickel if you get them pissed.

Well, had a great trip to the boundary waters, caught a lot of nice fish. A white whopper plopper in the smaller size was the most productive and caught the largest fish, then a rogue, and then a nasty shad spro little John crankbait. Best pattern was wind blown points of islands. We fished crooked lake in the saturday Bay Area.We got rain as usual and I got a rear treble hook of a rogue in my thumb while the front was in the mouth of a pike. Talking about fun trying to unhook a pike while he's hanging by a jerk bait from your thumb with one hand in a canoe! We did have a blast and my 14 year old caught his personal best small mouth on this trip also! Most of the scenery is on a go pro, but I'll try to get some pics downloaded when I get home. Got a few close ups of some bald eagles that where pretty cool also.

Thanks, and a happy 4 th to you and all on here!! If more dad's would be dad's and take their kids hunting, fishing, camping, and just spend time with them we would gave a lot less of the problems we have today. They are gonna find something to fill their time and it's up to us to make sure it's something of value and will lead them in the right direction. And you are right this is a great community on here that for the most part has thier act together and head screwed on right and care about the things in life that matter!

Yeah, he ate the crankbait off a point and was bleeding. He made out alright. It’s an awesome trip, the fishing is unbelievable

I was born in Florida, went to college in Minnesota. One of my big regrets, knowing what I know now, is not gong up to Boundary Waters.
Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

No guns, don’t think they are allowed. I know we don’t bring them because there is a portage we used to have to take that goes into Canada and I know that’s a no no. So far we haven’t had any issues with bears. Usually try to camp on remote islands, so far none have had bears. As long as I can run faster than my partners, I should be alright
