    Boundary waters

On my way to Ely, Mn. to enter the Boundary Waters. I'm gonna miss the old Mercury, the only power I'll have is what ever this honky can push through a paddle. The fishing is unbelievable and makes all worth the effort though! Not to mention the peace and quite and lack of cell phone service!

Ha! You know you a little throwed off when ya gotta hang what little food you bring with ya from a tree so the critters won't take it from ya. God forbid if something happens to it you'd be in bind! What's worse you can't carry a gun with ya, because there is a spot where we momentarily cross into Canada. By the way we ain't supposed to fish on the Canadian shores, but y'all got the best action and you think I'm gonna pass on that! I don't think so!

Ha, Canadian fish are smarter. Statistics show they stay in school longer.

Yeah I bring in a few, but so far I've found the education level of these fish hasn't been to the point where I have to Many more trips of us coming up here that could change So far between Pop -R, jerkbaits, and crankbaits we got em covered. But in case gets bad I have few spinners. The fishing has been unbelievable, they act like they ain't never seen a bait before, which half of em probably havnt. We not used to that from where I'm from, our fish can name every bait by name and knows more about tackle than most fisherman! I think sometimes they bite just because they feel sorry for us
