Sounds good to me rj would like to try the 30p before I buy a prop or 2 just to see if I can the rpm I need for 90mph.

Took all day to get the jack plate set up.Bolted a 1/2 inch almn plate to the jack plate to mount the hyd trim ram mount to so I would not have to drill more holes in the transom.

Hope to get the driveshaft and shift shaft cut and welded back together today and reinstalled.If I can get that done well be very close to firing up the beast.

Hope to install the lower unit with the new waterpump tomorrow and than permanently install the powerhead,and fire it up if all fine finish the trim pump ,fuel pump and steering be on the water sat or sun or maybe both still need a prop though RJ lol

Ok rj.Found out the steering arm on the motor is different than the older one so going to take a few days to modify it to make it work its always something with these mod motors and OMC keeps changing chit over and over to make me pull my hair out and frustrate me? By the way what are you shooting?

That sucks, but looks like you are up for the task on that steering! Did not notice they changed the tiller arms much over the years, but I have all late 70's early 80's stuff. I shoot a tri-combo league at Metro Gun Club in Blaine. We shoot a bunch of different games, skeet, wobble skeet, wobble trap, trap from skeet, 27 yard crossers, ducktower, sporting clays (5 stand some call it). I think thats about all of them.
