So many problems with fuel tanks in in the sponsons.. and one engine. I tried that 1978 for my Offshore class Z-1 Argo/Delicato/Evinrude 235 V6 2.448 liter cross-flow.

My personal opinion is that Fountain Powerboats made an enormous mistake by not letting Ben Robertson drive and throttle the boat his way.
Ben is probably the best racer ever and have experience like no one else.
To fly this boat close to 200 MPH is not something you can do without long time race experience..
Just saying..

When running these numbers in any vehicle, especially boats, the elements take over the process. We will see how Wednesday's weather plays out along with the new gearbox ratio.

150 MPH is way lower than the old Fountain Record..Something big must be changed to find 50 MPH..
