    Just My THOUGHTS
Worked with Canadians in the whiskey business for 25 years wonderful people sold Canadian club all over South Florida. It’s why I got into the boat business and drink tequila today. I miss the days of Ralph Evinrude And Outboard Marine corporation and being a Johnson dealer they mariner dealer and they Suzuki motorcycle shop. I love to race up at Valley field with a G in boats like we did back in the 70s and 80s. Wonderful things happen north of the border Windsor had some of the best strip clubs I’ve ever been to that’s why I drink tequila today.

As former Brp outboard dealers we look forward to the technological advances that Brp may bring us in the Outboard business. Let’s just not forget That When BOMBARDIER Tried to compete with Boeing and Airbus and the regional jet business it was only a mild success against these giants Not to mention the competition they got into from Brazilian company Embraer. That is why I drink tequila today

One of the reasons why BRP abruptly ended Evinrude production was a byproduct of the WTO lawsuit between Boeing and Airbus. Neither company wants to mess with regional jets.

A stop at Outboard Service at Tufa Marine yesterday. You find everything you need for today's outboards there including great service. Andreas Göransson took the time to show us around.
    Thanks

Lars Strom is in Stockholm, Sweden.

Two pictures over Stockholm and you can clearly see why a boat is the best way to travel around this great city.

I'm guessing that the LH prop causes the motor to want to turn/crab pointing to starboard and therefore causing the boat to turn left easier?

If you have ever driven a V bottom with a race engine (LH) the answer is yes. LH will pull left like a bear down the straight and then you are turning left with the prop torque around the turn. Personally I don't like it. I would rather turn against the prop torque.

    LH vs RH Thinking

Lefthand rotation and torque kind of found its home in racing because we were always turning left. Right hand prop rotation in a left hand turn was believed to the breeding ground for barrel rolls and left hand torque threw the physics of the LH turns inboard into the turn. All the advantages of LH prop rotation got a little skewed when a RH turn was incorporated in the course layout (Example: RH turn just past the Nautical Inn at Havasu). We had a slight right hander at the Winnepeg IOGP course too. Only way I could deal with RH turns with a LH race engine was to press my knee against the steering wheel to counteract the LH engine torque (drag).
