If my memory is correct the rotaries were running the 14/23 gearcase at Windemere. 110 MPH sound's about right. Jimbo's testing I referred to had the 15/17 gearcase and was able to hang it out. Remember Downard was the slowest of the rotaries entered. Woods lead Van der velden's T-3 by 6 minutes after the first hr. I suspect he was going a little faster than 110MPH.

Anybody know of any kilo records set by a full deck tunnel @ 120+?
Some facts..this is the #02 Scotti-Craft from Paris 6 Hours 1974 after a bad incident.. You can clearly see its a picklefork.

They asked me to go along for the SA race but it meant leaving before Christmas and returning after the first of the year. I had a 3 yr. old baby and wife at home and didn't think it would politically correct not to be home for the holidays, so I said no, send Mouse.

I think most of the pixs I’ve seen of the rotaries at speed, were w/negative trim??

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

That's too bad, I would have loved to have met you, but I understand family comes first
