One of my Merc owning friends reminded me of this story.

If you look close at the Powerhead, you’ll see red paint spots.
That represents Merc blood from when I sacrificed an in-line 6 for good luck by tying it to a tree in my yard for the FrankenRude to feed on at night during its build.

I totally forgot that part until he reminded me ��

My guess is Nick G in Houston Tx.

He and Galen were very close and Galen was deeply involved in Nicks OMC drag program.
Galen was a Merc convert, genius and owned the machine shop from Hell.
