In September 1975 OMC released and raced the first powerful "2 liter V6 looper" for the first time.
Cees Van Der Velden in his #1 Velden Racing/Marlboro/Johnson Stinger GP looper V6 won the UIM ON class World Title race in Cardiff,UK
Beating all the latest Merc T3 V6 including Renato, Hering Percival and many more and yes I was there watching.

I think this is a Johnson Stinger GP V6 2 liter cross-flow crashed out in Amsterdam or Rotterdam 1975.

Bristol-Embassy GP 1972 was the first year for this popular race. I have to ad popular race for the spectators. Very few driver I know enjoyed racing there.

proposed Johnson outboard paint layout for just the larger motors, that was rejected by corporate, which cesaroni design company & OMC worked on together...
