Yeah that's the order of the crank in the pic above.
Thing is the top to bottom V4 degree spacing. It's not 45° by looking at the crank pic and pic of the #1 TDC to #5 position. It looks by eye to be low 30° high 20°spacing. This would give a more equal arrival of both 1&5 for example acoustic blowdown pressure at the mid at high rpm. That's why I was wondering if they extended the bottom V4 exhaust further than the top into the mid , that would have provided more equal tune length to the top V4. I doubt I'll ever find one of the F1 motors around here and disassembled to have a look at the crank and ex manifold and mid.

The cowling contour lines of the Velden during this period had to be by far the best for styling. It's "camel back" look reminded me of a "knight's horse" profile in a chess set. Molinari's were functional but lacked some kind of flair for styling. Both Velden and Molinari race boats never evolved to a point where canopies were used in the 90's.

Former boat racer and World Champion Andy Elliott fights for life in London hospital.
Stay strong my friend. We all support you.
"Andy was rushed to hospital on Sunday after collapsing at a friend’s house after taking an afternoon walk.
Elliott was airlifted to London where he underwent surgery for an aneurysm on the brain"
