And I could be wrong, but Bombardier can still sell you repair parts for them, if you need them. So no big deal. Hey, we all have photo's of blown up outboards, want to see some? Nah, never mind...lol

I had a few friends at work that had Ficht motors. The injection required 2 batteries to work. A battery failure left you dead in the water. I have been fortunate that my 2001 Optimax is still running fine as of last Friday. I have had very few issues with this motor.
