Years ago there was a Johnson water heater....!!..
DID YOU KNOW – JOHNSON MADE WATER HEATERS? Just like Ole Evinrude, the Johnson brothers were true entrepreneurs - and no less inventive than Ole scoring numerous firsts in outboard motor development. They not only produced the first tilting sterndrive, the first monoplane and the first boat & motor packages; they also produced, and sold: airplane & seaplane engines, inboards motors, the motor-wheel powered bicycles, hot water heaters, refrigerators, compressors, the motor scythe and various water pumps including portable forest fire fighting pumps.

Don't know if BS or not, but had to ask about it, since Jason Johnson, who is a great asset to us in the performance boat world as a respected journalist, just announced this Johnson Marine motorcycle deal, over on OffshoreOnly & other marine website publications. Thought I would go to the source here.

That SIMRAD cat is cool. Just larger skegs needed for offshore. Fortunately no one was hurt due to the excellent canopy design. This just happened this month.

These are the newer upgraded 1 1/4" diameter propshafts & motor mounts that SIMRAD has installed for offshore versus the standard ones. Cool.

Well..here is the facts...this is not from this month..it is from 2 years ago when Conn and his daughter Tae rolled and there is a story about the incident somewhere on this thread.
Thanks anyway.

Conn was not in the boat when they flipped last weekend. It was Ken & Les.
I have a short FB video of the crash here: https://www.facebook.com/alex.binkin...jcxNzU1MDQxNQ/

Jack Aylsworth
Evinrude - Johnson outboards. Facts, history, racing and future.
May 3 2019
YOUNGEST JOHNSON BROTHER, CLARENCE, riding his Motor Wheel powered Johnson bike. Promoted as “the only two-cylinder motor in the world to push a bicycle”, the Johnson Motor Wheel was capable of speeds up to 35 MPH with a range of 150 miles on a gallon of gas. The Motor Wheel $97.50. Motor & Johnson Bike $140. An un-restored, but running 1922 bike & wheel was listed online at $3,650. A fully-restored bike and motor can bring twice that.
