well my first time pulling the power head!
I pulled the power head to day wasn't to bad. i hope i can get it pack together proper I took lots of pics. Built a work bench for the job this morning. Been a great day its nice to know how to do this!! I have to change a gasket on the motor and installing a new mid section tomorrow. Motor mount off swap cans ect... If any one has to do this this was my first time and all I normally do is change break pads on the car. So if I can do it you can also. haha

Good job ! Its really not that bad. My biggest problem back in the day was remembering the shift shaft when swapping mids or adapter plates. Left it off more than once. Pay attention to the clocking on the shift shaft also. If it's off you won't reach forward or reverse. Mike.

Ya it wasn't hard at all. i accually put it back together then tested had no water out the pisser. It was coming out the upper motor mounts. so I had to pull it again. The second time only took about an hour!! haha it took me 4 hours the first time. haha I found a crack between the upper motor mounts and my water seal was oveled . Im pretty sure my water tube is to long for the new case but cant find out the actually proper length for that? Have a new adapter on its way but cant put it back together untill I verify tube length. when i tightened the gear case it looks like it rammed up the seal in the adapter. i cut one for the 200 case but am running a TM now.

Should be the same tube, dont think i ever saw a TM with a 3/4" tube. 9 outta 10 times you will hit the seal if you try to push the whole tube up with the l/u, did you mount the tube into the adapter plate first ? Then bolt it to the can ?

If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
