D and E Class OMC outboards, Johnson 60 and Evinrude 75
Completely rebuilt 1976 EP/SE Evinrude 75, same as the Johnson Stinger.
New crankshaft, cylinders were Sunnen-honed, new rings, 2 new pistons, new rings, new rod bearings, new seals, gaskets, O rings; new driveshaft, new gears and clutch dog, new lower unit bearings, new gearcase seals and impeller kit. Exhaust housing totally rebuilt as well: new swivel bracket seals and bushing, 2 new and 2 good used shock mounts, new thrust mount. New coils, carbs cleaned, new fuel line. All in all, like a new motor. The motor has been started and run with a hose attachment. Break in instructions will be provided. $4500.00.
Completely rebuilt 1980-83 DP/SD Johnson 60. Cylinders were Sunnen-honed, new rings, new rings, new rod bearings, new seals, gaskets, o rings. Gearcase and driveshaft housing were rebuilt too, new swivel bracket seals and bushing. Has the 1975 50 gears with ball bearings instead of needle bearings, new gearcase seals and impeller kit. The intake passages were smoothed, and the flat plate tuner was ground/opened at the bottom of the exhaust housing so that this notor has the same through gearcase tuning (with stinger effect) as the e cyl. 75. The motor was broken in and run on our restored 14' Allison, 53 mph with a relatively unworked 12.5x23 SST60 prop. $3500.
