I know this boat is bigger than what is here, but might give you guys some ideas for other projects. Had a 43 Tiara come in with the battery shelves sagging/rotted. So, instead of replacing the wood with wood, I got some fiberglass deck grate from Mcmaster-Carr. The stuff is designed to be walked on and and the particular size I got is good to 700 pounds. A pair of 8D batteries ended up on this.......
