2004: The Mercury Project X Launch - The Most Amazing Product Launch Ever

Retrospective Photos - Mercury 'Project X' Launch, 2004

I've been attending the Miami International Boat Show since 2004, and the very first year I covered the show turned out to be the show that Mercury launched 'Project X', which became the Verado.

That was one of the most incredible boat show product launch experience I've ever attended, and that is no exaggeration. Mercury's pre-show press events were such a fantastic experience. I will be publishing a feature article on the details of this product launch, with many details and photos that made this experience a standout among the many product launches I have attended.

I will also be featuring a retrospective on Evinrude's 2006 E-Tec press event in Key Largo, which also stands out as one of the most incredible press event experiences in Scream And Fly's history.

This engine launch was just spectacular. I'm I will be publishing an article with many more photos and 'behind the scenes' information on that experience. A lot of cool and even funny things happened.
