260/Drag top pin mount (cowl side)

I have a pin that mounts to the motor and "believe" I have the little hook pin that goes in the hole after the cowl is mounted. I need the chrome mount that goes on the cowl itself, top/bottom plates and I believe there are rubber backers to each plate as well. I will gladly buy the little pin and tether that may go with this part (when bought new) if somebody has it all as a package. I would like a really nice one and if they can still be bought new, the spot to pick one up at!! One made with carbon fiber would be even better....LMAO

Also....I would be willing to pay someone the the EXACT measurement of where to drill the big hole too LOL!!! It looks like that's not going to be an easy measurement to make
I have a boat or two.... that I never get to drive

Alrighty....the one I have on my cowl is not round and thought it was a merc specific part. I suppose I can measure off my Drag cowl and drill any of trim rings to those measurements.....was just hoping there was a template out there LOL! I'll stop at my local speed shop and see what they have available....thanx!!

There may well be a Merc specific one, that was not round. The ones that I have looked at were just the round ones, and may be home built.Dunno.Just used my last set last week.Click image for larger version.

Is it possible to adjust the bolt down enough so the cowling will fit down, and mark some clay or silly puddy in the location that needs to be drilled?

That does sound like a perty sweet idea but every time I put my cowls on I have to struggle, to some degree, to get the thing to sit down properly. That being said, I personally think that it would be difficult to get that mark down to a "T" while lining it up to the pan. Maybe I'm and idiot tho lol!?
