I did a carb rebuild new plugs and the engine only runs good at idle and tops out at 32 mph after having a very hard time and taking a while to get there. The engines on 1988 eliminator sprint. Here is the ohms I get from the stator they seem to be about half of what they should be on the yellow wires. Also the regulator has a like melted hole on the top.
