I saw a miniature f-1 car with a merc 2.4. It was crazy quick.... Was kinda surprised the v-8 wasn't quicker. But guess they are still tuning it.

many years ago I saw a picture of a drag bike that looked like it powered by a six cylinder merc outboard most likely a 150 hp

we have a guy around here that built a waverunner with a 225 2.4 in it.it would pull the grips out of your hands

waste of a decent outboard engine, stupid project to begin with.
Especially when you can get 300hp from small diesel car engines nowdays that will blow that to bits.

I have wondered how that would work forever! Neat project. I was always more curious about a smaller 3 cylinder motor in a dune buggy setup.

back in the 80's i saw a merc 2.4 in a drag bike at great lakes dragway ,wish i had a pic
