Thet did a twin 400 boat, but the setup was wrong and it didn't handle well.

I first saw this TUFF 28 on Randy's web site in April & i liked it so i went & did some research on it, i called Mark at TUFF & talked with him a few times asking him about Randy's TUFF 28 & questions in general, performance, weight differece in his new ones against the demo one, options, etc, etc. I asked when his 1st available slot for the 28 was & he told me in September, i didn't want to wait, i even called him back after i spoke with Randy the first time with a few more questions on the hull. Researching i ran across Randy's build thread & Dirk Pitt's 21 thread & sent DP a pm, i went to visit Randy to see the boat in person & talked with him alot about the boat & its origin, i looked at his inventory & even thought about buying the 25' Liberator he has, we talked price among other things & i left. Some time later my pm to DP was answered & i called him & we talked extensively, told me a few things about TUFF Marine & this particular 28 & confirmed what Randy had already told me, very knowledgeable DP. I visited Randy at least 3 more times before whe closed the deal on a coin toss

, I'm happy with my 2017 TUFF 28 & 17' Merc 300XS's, i asked Randy for all the receipts, including the hull, to the last nut & bolt & with no hesitation he gave them to me so if & when i decide to sell one day i can have a history to show a possible new owner, the year it popped out the mold & the year of a full refit, in my opinion, to better than factory spec's. Since day one dealing with Randy has truly been a great experience.
