USA made trailer tires
I'm completely revamping my trailer and noticed that Goodyear has nutted up with a new ST service tire made in the states. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...odel=Endurance And yes I know you can use 3/4 ton tires or passenger tires, etc etc (a subject that has been beat to death) but for the people who would rather run trailer tires on a trailer, these look like the way to go. I'm going to swing by my goodyear dealer sometime soon and grab a pair for my new wheels, will post more when I get them mounted and balanced.

Goodyear Marathon's have always been the gold standard so there's no reason to think these would be anything less.

I was told about the Goodyear USA tires, when I orders my last set of Maxxis tires. I decided to stick to the Maxxis. Please let us know how the Goodyear USA tire does. Would rather have USA, but no reputation yet.

I bought a set of Loadstar 15s from tractor supply on a spur of the moment deal. They're not terrible having lived an easy life indoors with 1/3 their load rating at the most. They do seem to squirm around and bounce quite a bit on rough roads compared to the old USA made marathons it had on it before, but they were different sizes so not sure it's a fair comparison. Hopefully these new endurance radials with a bit more wheel width will cure a lot of those issues.

I wasn't aware but apparently Marathons have been being made in China for a while. Technically, as long a they meet Goodyear's specs where they are made is irrelevant but I'll spend the extra $25 / tire for a USA made version.

Yes, since 2009ish production I believe. I agree on meeting GYs specs, but they're so bad, and so many people have complained, GY has introduced this endurance in response to the complaints. Goodyear launches American manufactured trailer tire I try to buy American but I'm not super hung up on it so long as what I'm buying isn't made with slave labor. Sometimes it's unavoidable but I do what I can.

I put new Carlisles on my trailer, they are made in the US and China, I had to specifically ask for the US made ones but discount tires was nice enough to dig through the pile to find me four US made ones. Yes it is important to me. Ill go with the US made Goodyears for my Wahoo trailer !!

The Marathon was made in China by Triangle. The Endurance is made in America by Goodyear. The Endurance is designed to carry heavier loads while reducing heat in the tire. Marathon was an L speed rating (75) while the Endurance is a N speed rating (87), the highest in the industry. The Endurance also has a special lining made of 100% halobutyl rubber to minimize air loss. Many upgrades towards durability should make this the best trailer tire available. Made in America.
