Whom to Have Lower Unit Coned?

It appears Titus is no longer doing work to cone lower units. Whom would yawl recommend to have a 200 lower unit coned / cle work done?

JC does awesome work but it takes a long time to get it. Don't count out Bob's. I think they have about a 3 week turnaround

i can tell you why i quit ive coned 100's of lowers i quit a few years ago because i could build 2/3 motors while i was coning one lower unit to make 300.00

I agree with Erik on Bob's. I have a case that was coned over 10yrs ago with no issues. They also did a buddies CLE and it gained about 5mph in 1000'. But... If your think about them you better get started because I just order 2 kits and they are on back order. They told me about 3 weeks until they will have any.

I appreciate your opinion on the Bob's work. That is the direction I'm leaning right now. Should be doing something in about a week or so.

Good way to slow a boat down is to run a coned case when not needed basically if boat doesn't run at least 85 plus or create natural lift without positive trim u don't need it

Agree 100%. Depends on boat and motor set up and if your getting close to that mid 80 mph range as mentioned by speedinstream.
