Can somebody send me a few pictures of the ECU. Pin outs and part numbers.
No guarantees but I know a guy that hacks can am (BRP) and other ECU's for a couple aftermarket companies to tune. (SxS and sleds)

He's into my HPDI ECU so we can tune it.

In this case we are still on different wavelengths. I am talking about returning a used EMM to service on a used motor with no warranty. I simply want to confirm the EMM has the most current maps for this size engine or update the EMM if not. This is strictly and clearly a "Right to Service" issue. I swapped a 6.0L out of an Escalade in to a 5.3L Tahoe years ago now. There were at least 25 guys that could handle the ECU work even back then. The truck ultimately went to my brother in California and is still passing CARB inspections. This kind of thing should be a non issue as the law is clear in many other markets that the consumer has a right to utilize and program used parts as part of a repair process. EPA compliance is my responsibility and mine alone when I source and install the parts.

so then just find a used EMM that is same generation and same year and you'll be just fine... The variables in injector co-effeciants is sooo small it doesn't have to be remapped, updated or anything...

My original idea as well. I have emailed or called tons of dismantlers that have the correct EMM 587334. None of them will say what the unit came off, but they will say they are selling them all the time. That tells me somebody has the capability to do what I need done. BRP is way out on a weak limb if they are harassing someone exercising a legitimate right to repair. Tesla getting bit h slapped proved again the courts have zero patience for nonsense arguments about proprietary code when it comes to repairs.
Please PM me if anyone reading this can do the repair.
