    comparision

The 21 will never be as fast as an Allison in calm water, even if it weighed 10 lbs. Its frontal area is too big.
Weight is like everything else in boats a trade off. A heavy boat gives the impression of a better ride, A light boat will kit off easier than a heavy one. If you want to run 100 mph in the 21 you will need calm water like an Allison does. Its just that in the 21, at 70 mph you can still crush boat chop and be out there enjoying the day.
The 21 was desighed to be a real water boat, it deals with chop better than the others with a bonus of a really big top end. All these 21s are 'rough water King' first than 'top ender' second.

    Aha ha

But lots of boats handle good at 70. I want to crush big stuff at 100 like Geos 18 foot Donzi.

    ROUGH WATWER

Slow up, give me that boat for a day and Ill destroy it ,roll it or stuff it. I love the way you guys throw around "rough water" and "wave heights" as if your in the water with a tape measure. I like the boat for what its good for but I have to agree with David about defeating a pourpose. Once again I will pain some with a pic of what rough water is. Notice NO bow up bull****. Now step....

    Thats whats great about streams

they come with there own air. Just make em fast enough and they hang. With the big ole pig I got now you have to find air. Next year I might go back to a flat water boat, IM beginning to think they might be safer.

Hey Pit Bull, nice air..............TuffBoats, is a professional throttle man, his picture in the merc catalog has more air underhim.

Imagin your boat built with todays technology, you could not break a Tuff, just yourself.

aahhh, I was hoping nobody saw that. I ran out 1 block past the gas station. I was in a rush to the ramp to try out a few things and I said to myself as I passed the station "oh, I'll just get gas on the way back" and bang! it died before I finished thinking about it. yes I feel like a dumb ass and Im glad you forgot your camera. good thing it wasnt greg passin by.

    PIT BULL

how did you get that picture anyway.

I agree with pitbull on the rough water thing. that term gets thrown around LOOSELY.

I had a 18'6" boat that was real good in rough water. I'd run mid 80's in real rough water. Water most people would call 2-3'ers, which were in reality maybe 1-1 1/2.

We took my buddys 31' fountain to the bahama's in REAL 3'ers, and I GAURANTEE you nobody would take a sub 20'boat in that ****. at least at anything above idle. we ran around 45 in that and for about 10 miles maybe 60 and beat the **** out of ourselves.

    BOAT BUSTIN

WHILE I APPRECIATE Firewalkers comment aboat indestructably, the fact is everything can be broken. Every skater I was involved with broke, you just keep it quiet. Its not 'will it brake,' its how long will it take the abuse before it brakes.
The speed recks a boat expontenially, A boat in 1 footers probally gets twice the abuse at 80 than it did at 60.

    Todays technology...

I put a 1985 (18 yr old) boat through 9 years of hell and it pretty much stayed together. As for more air under anyone goes, did anyone get out a ruler? I never saw the pic so Im not judging. My pic represents a millisecond of a 70 plus mile run from a hellicopter, which makes it real hard to judge wave heights as well as air height. I can brake anything. Like tuff says its a matter of time and abuse. And Ill say it again, I like his boat.

    I bet ...

I broke the infamous "PIT BULL" cause I drive like a maniac and Steve had it 9 years. Time only tells if a boat gets driven to the ground(bottom). My next move is a stunt from fountain to fountain in Las Vegas or NYC. You pick the fountains and I will jump em.

I personally would pick a 12 and 15 meter in a row,, heh

Before I make the leap of Death over the fountains,,,,, Steve,, go blow em off the water with the now KNOT GUILTY,, I always wanted to see my boat go screamandfly'n from the dock. And I Would have to say,, you are more qualified to drive my boat than I am. Lemme know where and when,, I'll be there.

    Thumbs up GO AHEAD STEVE!!!!!!!!!

that`s what a 21` 22` is made fore i am a big fan of velocity, superboat progression, shadow, and of course APACHE.and i know what they can do! still it seems to me that all of the 100mph 21` 22`s only seem to do it on a computer.

I am a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, coated in bubble gum, stuffed in a turducken. Δx Δp ≥ ℏ/2
