i don't remember if yea/nay on this?... did/does tha BP use plastic center mains?.. most "production" 2.4's had tha metal caged mains except tha "fat block"... has ta have tha shoulder bosses on tha two center mains to keep tha bigger OD plastic 2.5 mains in tha right place.......

some say it's worked for them but everyone i've personally seen (plastic on non-shoulder) gave up sooner or later.

ok,tks,I have a mystery powerhead coming to me,lol,a buddy bought it several yrs ago,and it spit something thru the front 1/2,but didn't appear to come thru the block,i really don't know what it is,was sold to him as a 260 converted to carbs,I'm guessing it is a 245 or possibly a promax. I'm just thinking ahead with the crank,as I have 2 bridgeport cranks here,in case the one coming is busted up.

    gotcha..

JAN, something ta look for: 260/225 PM block won't have bleed fittings on tha block half...... all other production, plus 150/200 PM, 245 will have 'em....
