    Evinrude 250ho G2 SLX gearcase

    E​vinrude 250ho G2 SLX gearcase, anyone have any ideal how fast this case is good for before u are in danger of it blowing out? Any ideals? Thanks.

    Totally depends on the boat and setup. I've been 105 with a magnum 2 sle no nosecone. When the propshaft is 2" above the bottom it doesn't matter if there's a nose cone or not because it's high and dry.

    Its a Bullet 20xd. I'd say he is running at pad or a little below. There is no alternative water pick just the case. I'm know nothing about these cases. How high can u run one and maintain water pressure needed to keep from overheating. I know with the lightening style cases on that boat u have to run about 1 inch below pad to maintain water pressure. But this case looks to have an alternative pickup in the nose of the case.
