Yes I've looked on bbc boards thats why I came here. I upgraded motor to 175 pro xs and also added a bobs hydraulic jackplate. I was also wondering about if a nose cone would pull another mph or 2

Im getting older and downsized boats but just wonted to get all I could get out of it without effecting motor warranty. Im not sure if these nose cones effect warranty and if they really work thanks

Snooping around the basscats here one had a tempest and the other a a rev 4, ultimately it's a drivers preference and it's best to find a dealer with a test prop program near the water and spend a day or two there.

More than likely a nose cone on that rig won't help, but you never know till you try.
Maybe we if there's someone in the area with a cones lower thy would let you make a pass with score you spend money on a mod that might slow you down

I know a few guys with the bigger Basscat that run well with the fury also. The fury runs better without nose cone being that it doesn't run very well at higher engine hieghts. Also tempest is popular and can be run higher. Like said before a lot is driver preference. If want to try a nosecone, need to try a surfacing type prop to get full benefit of cone otherwise probably will run better without it. But never know until you experiment, but this should be good starting point to see what you and your boat likes.

can I ask why you feel a nosecone is needed ?
maybe just try the boat and see what happens, not everyone is running on surface with a cone fitted.
they might help certain boats gain what they want, but just a thought.

Don't feel nose cone is needed, think it will run better without. If wanted to try one to see, feel it would run best with cone surfaced otherwise at his speeds the extra drag will only slow him down. Maybe my wording wasn't clear what I was trying to say. My writing ain't the best lol.

You also have to decide what you are doing with the boat. If you are only going to fish then the really go fast props usually don't work that well. Best to have more than one prop. Go fast, or fish. I have a bass boat that I run over the hub props on. Runs pretty good, but if you ever bump anything in the water, even at idle it dings the prop. A fishing prop tends to have heavier blades and stands up to the rigors of fishing better. I think you will have to really step on it to get 75 out of that rig. I hope you do! Let us know.
