My suggestion is, if you are not planning to build an exceptional boat, no matter what hull or mold you decide on, with great attention to ALL details and finish, use top quality workmanship with knowledgeable fabricators, using today's latest and best materials money can buy, latest and greatest building methods, with a very reasonable price tag DO NOT even bother.

Intimidator, which was made from the original Challenger molds, was selling at an extremely good price. Very fast boats too.

I could not agree more. A boat is an investment, and nowadays especially, cost-cutting is rampant. Bayliner turned cost-cutting into a normal and acceptable practice back in the 80s. Tony has the perfect advice right there.

Apache was an incredible outboard boat. little heavy but runs through anything without ever knocking your fillings loose.
This one back in the day saw high 70's low 80's when it was in Long Island, before I bought it and it had a 300 V8 Rude on the back.
I got 74 out of it with it set up to run class 7 and a **** prop. I am sure if I raised the motor another inch or inch and a half and put a real mean prop on there was plenty more in it.

Phils version with a 250 or a 300 or even if you had the coin a new 400R on there holy **** I'd like to see if it stuck with the new tuff 21.
Course... If I sell my Etec and put a 400R on my Krypto... I'll have the best SOB package ever lol.

    .

The Superboat 21 is a taller hull and thus has a higher asking price

both Predator and SB 21's are great boats, great builds, I've owned 2 SB's and 2 Predators, all were great builds. Please call John Coen for more info on the SB21

for those who are budget conscious, there are lots of used 21's around, TuFF21, SB21, etc, start shopping here ==> Shop21

if you don't mind the itch, you can learn to rebuild a previously-owned 21 yourself ==> W2W

used motors galore, I think Predator has 3 used 225HP 25" mids asking $4K each...that can be cut down to 15" mids ==> cut_fishmotor_mids_to_15"

...just be sure to get out there and do some boating this summer...life's too short to saving up for that "perfect" boat.

just what I heard, from a good source- the intimidator molds need some work, where they are stored is one thing but I believe wes still owns them. im sure if someone is serious they will build you one but I believe the molds need work first
