Hi!
I have been told that Chaudron now have best speed with a 400R at 87/88 mph. But this is with a stock Bravo FS short tube. I have done 80 hours on my 400R Phantom25 (1985 model) package, and the engine really needs to surface. If not you will get steering issue where the torque forces you to turn left to go straight. The reason is that a pressure valve opens up. When I raised my engine 0,75 inches above the bottom, the steering works fine. I gained 4 mph on just 0,75 inches. My current REV4 prop does not like to surface, so I will test out Max5, BBlades new 4bl design, etc.
Chaudron also beleive its more speed on the 400R combo. Up to 90 mph should be possible with the correct prop.
Cheeers, Toffen

Looks like it could be very family friendly with the freeboard high and a cabin to boot. Great design.

Ya, great looking hull. Hard to beat the 300XS. Twin 200s are cool too. The new Nitra 29 is looking amazing too. We need some options like this in America.
