    Chaudron SV27

    Hi,

Last week Chaudron from Malta in Europe officially released their new SV27 (27,5 feet with a cabin). Its a fast boat running in excess of 85 mph with a single Verado 400R. I am not sure of the speeed with the twin 200 ROS though.

Very nice fit and finish. Will travel down to Malta to look at it

    Cheeers, Toffen

Looks like it's on top nicely even though the motor looks buried.

    Hi!

I have been told that they are waiting for a sidemounted latham steering. So there only been a few full speed runs. Best speed so far is 85 mph. They estimate to get 88 mph after playing with heights and props.

Their red twin boat will be tested this weekend.

    Cheers, Toffen

    Hi!

The red SV27 was tested this weekend and ran close to 90 mph with twin 200 ROS. With a little more testing it will run in excess of 90 mph. Thats good figures for 2 x 200 hp

    Enclosed some new pictures.

Great package and very respective performing #'s with those 200's!
They need to get rid of that large lettering on the side though.
The boat would look longer and cleaner.....

I thought that a 200XS ROS makes 240hp? 90mph from the Chaudron should be an interesting comparison to Wildman's Tuff 28 when he is finished with it. I still think I'd prefer the white one with the single 400 doing 85mph. Thanks for the pictures Toffen.

Kind of with you on loving that big single.. but when out hammering hard far from home... that second leg gets you home if one calls it quits on you. I'm lovin the single but that double is bad to the bone.

I would ditch the center pod controls and set the boat up with a small cabin below deck. Would make it a super versatile go-fast. Love the looks of this boat

    Hi!

The white one has a small cabin below the deck. Me too would prefer no letters on the side such as this grey version

With one single 400R the speed is in the upper 80 ties.
