EBAY Links?
Is it ok to post eBay links to parts to help others needing them? This morning I looked up a few lower units on eBay for a member and posted them for him so he could see what he needed and I think they got deleted. These eBay links were not my parts for sale, I was just showing him examples of what he needed to look for. They were just posted to help a guy out.
I checked the FAQ section and don't see anything outlining posting links to eBay.
Ebay is a powerful resources for researching used parts and comparing examples via pictures etc...
Thanks

Could post link in the Ebay forum and then link to that post.

There is an "Ebay and other internet listings" forum here, it's the last one listed in the buy and sell marketplace. Mostly boats and motors, though there are other misc. listings.

^ to both of the previous posts. Yes I see the eBay section. Im talking about posting direct links to show a guy what he needs when it happens to be on eBay, or any for sale website for that matter. Not everything is on SandF that is needed, especially for old L6 motors. Posting in the ebay section then posting that link on the tech thred seems weird and circumventing some rule that is apparently in affect.

But... your links didn't get deleted; I can see them when I click on your post history.

Your Right David! I'm an idiot. I actually posted them in the wrong thred. Then later looked at the correct thred and wondered what was going on.
Ill delete this garbage after people see that it was my own issue, nothing else.

Not an idiot... it's a simple mistake that most of us have made.
