Avanti 27' Twin Mercury 250's
Selling my 27' Avanti. The boat has a gill bracket and twin 250hp Mercury Outboards making it 29.5' overall. I bought the boat 4 years ago and did the following work 3 years ago.
Cockpit - New drop down bolster seats, new rear bench seat, new stereo, transducer, new trim tab controls
Motors - They are 2001 mercury 250s. There are NO hour meters on the motors so the hours are unknown. They run very strong and have great compression in all cylinders. The lower unit fluid and thermostats are changed every season.
Trailer - Load Rite dual axle aluminum trailer (surge brakes not working)
The boat runs solid and is perfect for the bay or ocean. Deep Vee hull makes it ideal for rough water. Boat runs comfortably at 50 but have had it up to low 70's (perfect conditions). The cabin interior needs to be redone. I just use it for storage.
Boat was built by Avanti (South NJ) in the mid 90's. Somewhere along the way it was titled as a home made boat. The title is clean as I currently have it registered in NJ. I'm not sure why it is titled this way as the guy I bought it from didn't have much info.
Aside from the home made title this is an excellent boat for the money.
Boat is currently in Marlton N.J. 08053
Asking $15,000
