Si i am interested in this conversion over the winter,i have a question about clamp. I have a 300 pm with 3 ram trim on my boat now. I also have a 260 2.5 offshore clamp complete, cept i sold the swivel pin to a member here years ago. I have some newer pins of the big square tiller arm/pin style, 2004 200 type, what would be my best option for me on your 15" mid, i already have 300pm shortened tuner and exhaust plate and alien cowling. Have a spare gen tm case i am coning and a spare 20" d/shaft,tks. Can i still use my seastar steering cylinder ?

Hi, yes you can still use your seastar steering as long as the steering arm you use matches the offset in the swivel bracket. So what that means is if you use a bracket from a 15" Ros motor the steering arm is 2" longer than that of a 20/25/30" motor. Is you 260 offshore clamp a 15" or a standard 20/25/30"? If its not you can either purchase the Ros swivel bracket and matching steering arm or have you existing clamp cut down.
