I have not put a kit together so far it seems everyone wants to use parts they have. There are also a few choices like exhaust plate/ tuner/ ram. I can however order you what ever new parts you want from Mercury and build you a kit.

The most cost effective route currently is the mids Adam McKeon put together and now has them for sale.

    https://www.screamandfly.com/showthr...94-300x-13-500

If you want to order all new stuff here's a summary of pricing:

15" can painted with hardware $2,000
    factory swivel bracket $1,235.77
    matching steering arm. $771.08
    bottom yoke $346.10
    upper bolts nuts hardware $50
    solid mount exhaust plate:
    300xs $854.01 or 300x $1,492.68
    clamp side arms:
    port $1,090.91
    starboard $1,175.93
    long ram $884.09
    ram hardware $300
    shifter shaft $109.16
    water tube $35.68
tuner: you can cut a factory one, hydro tec $299 or DBR $600

you could save alot if you could find a clean used offshore clamp from a 2.5 or 3L. Then you'd have the arms, ram, ram hardware. used ones are usually around $400 vs the $3,500 mercury wants for that stuff new.

hard to convey the noise level accept a little more aggressive than a stock 300x.

there is s batch at hardening now and should be headed to the machine shop next Wednesday.

can someone have a conversation without screaming say cruising 50until wind is crazy Looking at casting it wouldn't take much to put in a plate ( partial) to desired noise level ?

The current batch , are they sold ?

lol, I think so but I'm little hard of hearing anyways.

i have already had someone make the plate like a 2.5 for the snout that bolts in. I have also seen some one make a cable actuated flapper like a sort of captains call.

There are a couple spots left in the current batch.

Is there any way to adapt a 2.5 sportmaster/CLE lower to it w/3/4" water pump outlet ? and would it hold up to the torque of a 250xb or 300pm ? tks
