    Cut your drive shaft, cut your shift shaft, unbolt and bolt the power head, start it up and listen to the music it creates.

    Don't forget you need to either have your clamp bracket shortened or if you have a single ram offshore you can buy the new swivel bracket from mercury.

    I've had someone build that combo and weigh it but can't remember what the exact figure was. I'll look and see if I can find where it was posted...

    Keep in mind that this will give you addtl. setback and steering geometry will change accordingly. It can get expensive if you need a new ram.

    Cutting the clamp works fine as long as Gussets are added to the bottom like it is from the factory.
