That's it for this catalog. I'll include the brochures in this thread in another post. Hope you liked it, and if anyone else has literature from the same area, feel free to post it in this thread.

I could never afford a boat like this back then, but searched one out to own now. Some people don't get it that I like the "retro" graphics, and wonder why I don't paint it. In my opinion, that would be sacrilege!!

One thing I noticed on all of this literature is they never tell you where the weight number was derived; some seem like bare hull w/interior, others seem like with engine, so it is very hard to compare even between their own literature, so beware if you are using this info for historical fact, use best judgement. Or weigh a buddy's boat! I'm sure they varied throughout production as well, especially if someone wanted the "light layup".

I was a tournament water skier through that period in Oklahoma and Texas. Saw alot of inboard ski boats, but never an Eliminator Comp Direct!

I guess if we are sharing... I bought this brand new in 1987 from a Boat's'port marina in Eagle River. It is still sitting in my garage....however, it did have a white motor on it when I bought it

Love the seats, wish mine were the back to back. The matching graphics on the 2.5 really look nice

These old Eliminator owner threads are of great interest . These hulls I believe were very nicely built . Gel coat was excellent and build quality was high . I personally own a 19 and like the exposed core and stringers . This hull was built with a setback bracket and comes back over transom and ties back into stringers - sort of like the bracketry they were doing for the inboard v drive setups . Please take a look and comments if you seen this old piece in the California area . Click image for larger version.

ID:	446362so I'm basically just started getting this wet and figuring out where the drive wants to sit and run well . Had lots of help reading setup posts and getting the most out of this 80 -19 .

Very Cool, I had a 86 21 Eliminator Daytona. 14 years we owned it. We put 2 trailers under it 2 interiors in it and 3 motors on it. They paint work and gel looked as good as the day we bought it. Came with a 200 Merc, which I ran for a while then added Land and Sea's nitrous kit to it. Ran a ton of nitrous through that motor.
