******UMPBA Drags Races Stevens Point WI Aug 20th******

UMPBA will hold 1000' drags Aug 20th at Bullheads Bar and Grill/ Rivers Edge Campground.

Races are scheduled to start at 11AM and run until 6PM or when all classes completed

The race site is located just a few miles north of the city of Stevens Point on the WI river. This will be our first time here and should be a great venue. The campground is VERY nice and family orientated so bring the kids to this one. Check out bullheadsbargrill.com or riversedgewisconsin.com for more info and directions. Looking forward to seeing some new as well as old faces at this one.

Sounding like this is going to be a good one. Gotta call last night from some guys coming a long way gunning for the Top Gun in unlimited class(115mph+). Its also sounds like the lake racer 3 class (85-95mph) will have a lot of boats. I going down there on Tues. and will find out if there are anymore cabins or campsites available but I suggest looking into it ASAP. Otherwise the city of Stevens Point has lots of hotels.

I can not wait! It was a blast up at Pelican Lake, you got me out of the hole, the 22 pitch did not help me, going to put on a bigger wheel! Would love to see the finish line pix, I think you got me by a nose!

Just talked reservations at the campground all the cabin's and rental units are booked. There are some rv and camp sites still available. I would call ASAP and if you want to be by the group use the last name of Micki for reference.

I got it jetted leaner on the bottom, more responsive but not quite there. Some other things I am going to try this next week though! I think I will actually have the hood on the motor!

Was down at Bullheads today for a meeting and checking things out. They added a pretty cool little water park as well as some new cabins and campsites, very very nice.

Also they rent golf carts for using in the campground for anyone interested.
