21 Cigarette Outboard - No power.

One of 13 made. I just purchased and it is going to be to much work for me. If you have to pay someone to do the work this might not be the boat for you. Please come take a look at it.
The boat is a big 21, originally set up with a 300 Johnson. No power at this time. All of the wiring seems to be there. The transom is gone. Someone cut all of the plywood out, it needs to be repaired, replaced, along with where it attaches to the stringers. I have not looked in the cuddy cabin. I picked the boat up last night and after a good look at it today decided it is just to much work because I do not have the patience and experience to do it myself. It is a neat boat with a lot of potential. Please give me a call if you are interested. Trailer will have 4 new tires and the working lights. SOLD

It looks like the boat was originally red and was repainted somewhere along the way. It is a 1987.

Yes sir. It is a cool boat with a lot of potential. I am breaking out the power washer and magic eraser tonight to see how she cleans up. I will take some progress pics. I also have a set of white Livorsi gauges that came out of my Doug Wright that I will throw in. A lot of potential but a lot of work.

These 21' Cigarette OB hulls are rare. Wave crushers with a lot of freeboard and were only made in 1986 and 1987. Cool looking boat. I never realized there was even a full floor under the deck. I always assumed it was just open stringer up there. That would make for an interesting project for someone for sure.

Great shot there! Is the bottom a full 24 degree deadrise or a little shallower? I always thought they were 22 degree.

Floor is fiberglass. It is good and cleaned up well with the pressure washer. I do not have pics. I'm on a 10 day ride through Sturgis. I will take more pics when I get back hom e. It is in covered storage.

Hi, Could be the boat was red but Cigarette's in that vintage and as far as I can remember always had the red awlgrip bilge and engine compartments from the factory. I had an '85 Cig 20 I restored with the customary red engine compartment and bilge. That's how they left the Cigarette factory. FWIW

Very cool boat...too bad previous owners didn't take good care of it. Certainly looks worthy of a resto though for the right person. Good Luck

Very well could have been - I guess the only way to find out is to call the folks at Cigarette with the HIN I am sure they have some type of build file on it.

On a side note. I will not accept paypal and ship the boat to Miami. I have received a couple of calls from the British Virgin Islands....... to many scams out there. Serious inquiries only please.
